Admission Process details
Step 1 : For kindergarten, montessori and class1, registration for admission to national public school, indiranagar is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, race, region or gender.
Step 2 : The first priority is for siblings. Applications from siblings are more than twice the number of seats available. The second priority is for children of our teachers and other staff members.
Step 3 : The next preference is for the nationally mobile group including central services and other transferable services of india. There is also another category of people who are internationally mobile coming from cbse schools outside india. Bangalore is seeing a large number of this migratory group who are seeking admission to cbse schools.
Step 4 : The last priority is for the general category.
Step 5 : Admissions to classes 2 to 9 are finalized based on the performance in the written admission test conducted in the month of april/ may. Students who have to appear for the written test will be informed through the school website. The exact date and time of the test will also be mentioned. All students appearing for the written test are assessed on their previous year’s portions.
Step 6 : Students writing class 2 – 6 test are assessed in english, hindi and mathematics.
Step 7 : Students writing class 7 – 9 test are assessed in english, hindi, mathematics and science.
Step 8 : Students writing class 11 tests are assessed in physics, chemistry and mathematics students writing class 11 commerce tests are assessed in mathematics and commercial aptitude.
Step 9 : The list of students who have qualified will be uploaded on the school website. Admission is provided only on merit and strictly based on availability of seats.
